After putting together our findings we presented them to the rest of the group and Mr Cramb. we explained in detail our analysis of each graph and what we had found, we also explained how this would effect and influence what we are going to include within our opening. From the questionnaire we learnt our target audience was females with the ages ranging from 12-25, a city based setting and a female character often come up as a dominant setting and character. We learnt that the music needed in our opening needed to match the mood of what's being shown on screen. We asked people what their favourite Romantic comedies and the recurring answers where Love actually and Ps i love you. This is down to there story lines containing lots of humor, we decided these where some of the films we would look at in more detail.

Questionnaire Analysis

We handed out our finalized questionnaire to 50 people, They included a range of males and females from all ages. this was in order to determine our target audience. Once we collected the questionnaires back in we went through each one and found the reoccurring/popular answers from each question. We noted the age and gender of the people who watched romantic comedies.From each question we created a graph of the findings of those who do and didn't watch romantic comedies. For the majority of questions we singled out those who did watch romantic comedies where we thought it appropriate. Although this took a lot of time we thought it was well worth it, it allowed us to clearly see who are target audience is and what they expected to see in a romantic comedy. After tallying up the different answers we then created a powerpoint presentation which included a copy of the graphs and analysis of our answers and what it meant for our group when it comes to the production of our opening.

After drafting our questionnaire, we showed Mr Cramb and he informed us of a few changes that needed to be made in order for us to receive the most reliable results from the questionnaire. The changes that where needed ensured we received the right information thats appropriate for our task.
